Hey... just thought you might want to update your website specifically the Temple Mount in Jerusalem page - Solomons Stables have been removed by the Muslim community there and another mosk has been put in its place - under the floor of the Temple Mount. This would be helpful information to anyone wanting to see "the stables" - they won't actually be able to see them.

Also, there are now 4 Mosks on and under the Temple Mount 2 on the surface level - The Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosk, and 2 new mosks at the subterrenian level.

The only other thing that might be of interest to those interested in History or archaeology - On the Temple Mount in piles of rubble and trash are the remains of "the stable's" or really the arches built by Herod. They are there permanently because Israel will not let them take the Archaeological proof of a Temple and throw it out.

Nice read, however the information on the Tiger count is dated. As per the March, 2011 census, the count is between 1,571 to 1,875 (http://www.wpsi-india.org/tiger/tiger_status.php).

Apart from earning from the Tiger's skin. Poachers also earn from the body parts for traditional Chinese medicine.

When will people wake up!

A typical South Indian lunchtime meal, called a thali (TA-li). Usually served on a banana leaf. Starting with the top green dish, we have: fish curry, another veggie curry, sambar (very spicy thin dahl), another veggie curry, a beet-root curry, a pickle, halwa, channa masala, dahl, and curd (yogurt). In the center, we have pappadam (fried cracker) covering a chappati. Usually, this is all vegetarian, but this particular one was served in Kottayam, Kerala, so it has fish in one dish.

That is such a great photograph. Look at his make-up. I have heard that it is worth it to go and see them put their make-up on. It must be quite the process.

Hi JoAnn! Bari and Foggia are fabulous towns -- you get the best of Puglia between them. The trulli houses too are very unique -- not only can you see them in the famous town of Alberobello, but also scattered throughout the land as you drive down the road.

I haven't heard of Trani-- but will add it to go-to list for when I get to Puglia. This region is tops on my list, since my mom's family hails from Bari and Foggia, and because I absolutely must see a truilli house!
